You can delete your Playroom account and the data that goes with it at any time. You don't need the app installed to ask. Playroom is made by Golden Bytes LLC.
In the app
If you can still sign in. It happens right away.
- Open Playroom and tap More.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm it's you.
By email
If you don't have the app. Email theplayboxapp@gmail.com from the address on your account, with “Delete my account” as the subject.
We'll delete it and reply when it's done, within 30 days.
Deleting doesn't cancel a subscription
If you subscribed, cancel it first in the App Store or Google Play, wherever you bought it. The store keeps charging you until you do.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in
- Saved activities, including photos you imported and activities you wrote
- Playlists
- Planner items
- Onboarding answers
- Your ratings, reviews and import reports
- Your subscription record with us
Deleting can't be undone.
What stays, and for how long
- Posts imported from a link. Playroom's summary of a public post stays, with no link to you. The same goes for a photo someone else has also imported.
- Usage analytics. Kept until you ask us to delete them. Mention it in your email and we will.
- Crash reports. Kept for 90 days, then removed by our crash reporting provider.
- Backups. Deleted data can stay in database backups for up to 30 days.
- Store purchase records. Apple and Google keep their own records of what you bought.
